Dear Resident,

Four years ago we asked you to elect us to the Town Board.  In that time together we have seen many positive changes in Glenville.  Now, we are asking you for your vote again, to re-elect the team that cares about Glenville.

Over the years, by working together, we have accomplished much:

-- We had our town's bonding rating increased, saving us over $1 million.

-- We reduced the allocation of the fund balance from $1.4 million to under $650,000.

-- We stayed under the 2% tax cap and below the previous four years' average tax  increase.

-- We cut non-mandated expenses by around $500,000 over three years.

-- We reduced our payroll by 10 positions, lowering our costs through efficiency gained in operational     management.

-- We protected your core services while cutting expenses.

-- We welcomed new businesses in our commercial corridor, including the long awaited Target and Panera.

-- We invested in the beautification of our commercial corridors though our REDI fund.

-- We kept over $600,000 of state money here in Glenville to be re-invested in our businesses and jobs.

-- Cut the debt we inherited from $23.5 million to under $19 million.

   -- And, so much more...

In fact, over the past four years we attracted $60 million in new investments, which has led to new jobs right here in Glenville.  That's progress....that's putting Glenville in the right direction.   We made promises to you four years ago -we have delivered on them...Promises Made, Promises Kept.

But, we're not done yet.  We have more to do and that's why we need your vote. We need your support. By continuing our working together we plan to:

-- Continue the beautification of our commercial centers with new lighting and sidewalks.

-- Keep the momentum going with economic development so that we can broaden our tax base.

-- Further reduce our dependency on the fund balance to cover operational expenses.

-- And protecting the new upgraded credit rating that we fought so hard to achieve.

Yes, we love love Glenville and we  Thank you !!!!
